Mitoya MTY999HE 155cm Tripod

The product is covered by a 3-year warranty.

MITOYA MTY999HE is a universal photo tripod with a folding central column mechanism and a ball head. Its extensive functionality allows it to be positioned in many different ways - its column can be moved at an angle of 90° or rotated by 180°. It will be perfect for flat lay, macro and very low angle shots. With a load capacity of up to 5 kg and an Arca Swiss quick-release fastener, it's a useful tool for beginners and professionals alike.

In the classic tripod position (column pointing upwards), the working height of the MTY999HE varies from 45 to 155 cm. When the column is moved horizontally , it is from 35 to 120 cm. The column itself is 32 cm long, and with the head 42 cm. At the end of the column there is a hook on which you can hang an additional weight. In order to overvoltage the loudspeaker horizontally or vice versa, as well as to use it as part of a monopod, the hook must be unscrewed.

The legs of the tripod consist of four sections and are locked independently with plastic latches . Their height adjustment is accompanied by a ratchet system - each leg can be tilted and locked in one of three positions. Each also has a 1/4'' threaded hole at the top, which can be used to mount a magic arm, a preview monitor or an additional LED lamp. The feet are also equipped with non-slip rubber feet. Two also have wide, foam handles - the third is unscrewable and can be used as a monopod, connecting directly to the head, or to the entire central column. The possibility of self-configuration allows you to obtain a monopod with a height of 48 to 163 cm. All elements - the unscrewable leg, the central column and the head - have 3/8" threads .

The head used in MTY999HE has three knobs - two lock the ball bearing, and the third is responsible for locking the rotation around its axis. The angle scale makes it easier to take panoramas, and two spirit levels keep the vertical in the frame. The Arca Swiss detachable plate offers a standard 1/4'' thread and four small, non-slip pads.

The tripod is MTY999HE relatively light - it weighs only 1.7 kg. The reverse leg system reduces its size - when folded, it is 45 cm. The tripod comes with a case for safe and convenient transport.

REMARK! The tilt of the central column disturbs the center of gravity of the tripod. When taking horizontal shots, the tripod should be additionally weighted, using a hook and any counterweight - a sandbag, a photographic backpack with the contents or a handy bag with personal belongings. The weight of the counterweight should correspond to the weight of the device mounted on the tripod (smartphone, camera, camcorder, etc.).

In addition to the classic tripod, it can be quickly and easily transformed into a monopod, allow the camera to be mounted directly above the table or ground, and make it easier to take shots from a very low perspective. The use of telescopic legs with knob locking means that it does not take much time to set up or fold it.
