Description
The Marumi Slim Fit 77mm circular polarising filter is intended for wide-angle lenses. Its slim design is 7mm thick, compared with the 10.2mm thickness stated for traditional CPL filters, and helps prevent vignetting on wide-angle lenses.
Rotating the filter adjusts the polarisation effect to control reflections on glass and water. This lets you retain reflections on water or reduce them to reveal what is beneath the surface. It also enhances colour and contrast in landscapes, brings out blue tones in the sky and increases the contrast of clouds. It can be used when photographing snow, foliage, architecture and cityscapes.
