Manfrotto MT190CXPRO4 Carbon Tripod 160 cm

The main feature of the 190CXPRO4 is its 90° centre column mechanism, which lets you extend the column vertically as usual or horizontally, opening up a wide range of framing and shooting possibilities. This makes the 190CXPRO4 an extremely versatile tripod, suitable for a wide range of photo and video applications. The horizontal column mechanism is housed in the top casting of the tripod for compactness, but it can be extended easily and quickly when needed. Switching between vertical and horizontal column orientation requires no disassembly and can be done even with a camera attached.

 

The 190CXPRO4 tripod's 4-section legs make it extremely compact: together with the height saving of the new horizontal column mechanism, the 4-section legs help reduce this tripod's folded length by 16 cm compared with previous 190 models, a great benefit for any travelling photographer. The legs can also be extended and adjusted quickly thanks to the Quick Power Lock levers, which lock and unlock each leg section. The special design of the QPL levers gives a more comfortable and stronger one-handed grip on the leg locks. From the folded position, each leg section can be released with a single movement. The QPL lever design also provides stronger locking of each section, which means the tripod is more stable and rigid than with traditional lever designs. Intuitive and ergonomic leg angle selectors let you set each leg independently and firmly at any of the preset angles, again providing considerable freedom of positioning. 

 

A bubble level is built into the top of the centre column for precise framing. The bubble level rotates freely around the centre column, so you can place it where it is easiest to see when adjusting the tripod, without it being hidden by the mounted head and camera or getting in the way of the head's or camera's controls.

 

The top casting of the 190CXPRO4 has an Easy Link connector for supporting a photo or video accessory (such as an LED light, flash, reflector or other equipment) on an extension arm or bracket, turning the tripod into a practical mobile studio.
