Manfrotto MT055CXPRO3 carbon tripod

The main feature of the 055CXPRO3 is its 90° centre column mechanism, which lets you extend the column vertically as usual or horizontally, opening up a wide range of framing and shooting possibilities. This makes the 055CXPRO3 an extremely versatile tripod, suitable for a wide range of photo and video applications. The horizontal column mechanism is housed in the top part of the tripod for compactness, but it can be extended easily and quickly when needed. Switching between vertical and horizontal column orientation requires no disassembly and can be done even with a camera attached.

The legs of the 055CXPRO3 tripod can also be extended and adjusted quickly thanks to the Quick Power Lock levers, which lock and unlock each leg section. The special design of the QPL levers makes it easier to open all leg sections with one hand in a single movement. The QPL lever design also offers stronger locking of each section, which means the tripod is more stable and rigid than with traditional lever designs. Intuitive and ergonomic leg angle selectors let you set each leg independently and firmly at any of the preset angles, again providing considerable freedom of positioning.

A bubble level is built into the top of the centre column for precise framing. The bubble level rotates freely around the centre column, so you can place it where it is most convenient to see it when adjusting the tripod, and it is not hidden by the mounted head and camera or in the way of the head's or camera's controls.

The top of the 055CXPRO3 has an Easy Link connector for supporting a photo or video accessory (such as an LED light, flash, reflector or other equipment) on an extension arm or bracket, turning the tripod into a practical mobile studio.

The 055CXPRO3 is made in Italy by Manfrotto.
