Pentax Spottingscope PF-85EDA KIT + SMC Pentax zoom eyepiece 8-24mm

The Pentax PF-85EDA KIT is a compact and lightweight spotting scope with an 85 mm objective lens and an SMC Pentax 8-24mm zoom eyepiece. The kit is aimed at birdwatchers and outdoor enthusiasts. The optical design uses ED glass elements to minimise chromatic aberration, all glass elements have a multi-layer coating to reduce reflections, and a phase coating is applied to the roof prism.

A dust-proof glass element in the eyepiece mount makes the scope airtight and waterproof, equivalent to JIS Class 7. The scope is filled with nitrogen gas to prevent fogging caused by sudden temperature changes. The eyepiece mount has a standard 31.7 mm (1.25 inch) sleeve.
