Description

The Irix 15mm f/2.4 Blackstone for Nikon is an ultra wide angle, rectilinear manual focus lens designed for DSLR cameras. It covers a 35mm full frame sensor and has a diagonal field of view of 110°.

The optical construction has 15 elements in 11 groups, including three elements of highly refractive glass, two extra low dispersion glass elements and two aspherical elements. A special coating reduces colour aberration, ghosting and flare. Nine rounded aperture blades give smooth out of focus areas, and the minimum focusing distance is 0.25m.
