Extension and Macro Rings

Extension and macro rings, adapters and converters expand the compatibility of your lenses and cameras. This section covers converter lenses, lens adapters for mounting on other cameras, macro extension rings, and step-up and step-down rings from brands such as Fotocom, Gloxy, Kenko, Caruba and Kaiser.

Lens adapters let you use, for example, Canon EF or M42 lenses on cameras of another system, macro extension rings shorten the minimum focusing distance for close-up photography, and step-up and step-down rings let you use filters with a different thread size. Converters shift the lens angle of view towards wide-angle, fisheye or telephoto.
