K&F Concept Nano-X Black Mist 1/8 55mm Diffusion Filter

Black Mist 1/8 Nano-X is a high-quality diffusion filter from K&F Concept. It is made of optical glass, characterized by high light transmission and covered with numerous anti-reflective nano-coatings . It provides the highest quality image, free of flashes, reflections or unsightly color. The filter diameter is 55 mm.

The purpose of the diffusion filter is to give the image a more organic, analog character. Professional cameras and video cameras record images so full of detail that some viewers find it almost artificial. The Black Mist filter gently reduces the contrast of the scene and creates a soft glow around light sources. It increases the tonal range of the image, and the transitions between light and dark areas become smoother. It also has a slight effect on the exposure, allowing 87% of light to pass through, which - depending on the conditions and the expected effect - should be corrected by changing the aperture, ISO or exposure time. Subtle softening at the level of 1/8 makes the effect very delicate, so filters with such parameters can be used not only on the film set, but also in portraits.

Nano-X series filters are photographic accessories with numerous anti-reflective and protective coatings. They increase the clarity of the shot by effectively reducing light flashes. The optical glass from which it is made is also characterized by increased resistance to mechanical damage and dirt - there are no scratches or chips on it, and fingerprints or other stains are very easy to remove.
