Description

The Hoya ND4 HMC IN SQ.CASE 62 MM is a neutral grey screw-in filter that cuts the light reaching the sensor by two stops, for photographers and filmmakers who need longer exposures or wider apertures in bright light.

  • Filter thread: 62mm
  • Light reduction: 2 f-stops (ND4)
  • HMC anti-reflective coatings on the filter surfaces reduce unwanted reflections
  • High light transmission helps maintain contrast and colour saturation
  • Black filter ring
  • Supplied in a square case

Typical uses: lengthening exposure time when the aperture cannot be stopped down further or ISO cannot be lowered; shooting fast lenses at wide apertures on sunny days, useful for portraits and film; and matching exposure on film cameras where the shutter time cannot be adjusted.
