Hoya Fusion Antistatic Next Protector 82mm

HOYA engineers have developed a new ANTISTATIC coating that acts as a force field around the filter to repel dust. Ideal for environments where dust is common, these filters need cleaning and maintenance less often than traditional filters. In addition, the hardened antistatic top layer is water-repellent and stain-resistant, and is easy to clean when stains or fingerprints appear on the surface.

The new FUSION ANTISTATIC NEXT professional filters are made in Japan using hand-selected silicates that are carefully melted and mixed to produce high-performance optical glass. HOYA takes extreme care and precision in applying the advanced 18-layer Super Multi-Coating (both sides) formula, which significantly reduces or eliminates reflections on the glass surface and delivers an ultra-clear, high level of transmission. This means the filter has virtually no effect on colour balance, contrast or clarity of the final image.

The filters feature a lightweight, single-piece, low-profile aluminium frame that holds the glass. This single-piece design allows the filter to stay perfectly parallel to the sensor plane for maximum sharpness, while the low-profile shape prevents vignetting when used with ultra-wide-angle lenses.
