The Wimberley AP-502 is a precision replacement lens foot for large Nikon Z prime lenses, specifically designed for the NIKKOR Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S and NIKKOR Z 800mm f/6.3 VR S. Made in the USA and precision-machined to Arca-Swiss quick-release standards, it replaces the factory tripod foot and doubles as an Arca-Swiss style QR plate for direct use in compatible clamps.
The AP-502 adds rigidity over the factory foot to reduce flex and vibration, and includes 1/4" and 3/8" tapped holes for non-QR tripod heads and monopods.
