Material and construction

The plate is made from aerospace grade magnesium alloy with stainless steel fittings, giving a light yet sturdy build of just 26 grams.

QD socket and strap system

The central QD socket works with the 3 Legged Thing AXIS Camera Strap System. The QD mechanism allows a quick switch from strap to tripod and vice versa.

Compatibility

The plate is Arca Swiss compatible and fits all standard 38 mm tripods and clamps, so there is no need to swap plates when using multiple camera bodies.

Mounting to the camera

The top surface features rubber pads for a secure fit to the camera base. The supplied stainless steel 1/4" 20 screw fixes the plate to the bottom of the camera.
