K&F Concept ND8 72mm Graduated ND Filter

Gray soft graduated filter with a diameter of 72 mm by K&F Concept Nano-X. ND8x (ND0.9) reduces light reaching the photosensitive material by 3 f-stops, and the smooth transition between the darkened and neutral areas makes the scene appear natural.

The Nano-X filter series is distinguished by the use of the highest quality optical glass, which is repeatedly ground and polished on both sides, as well as reinforced with numerous anti-reflective and protective nano-coatings . As a result, the filters are resistant to scratches and chips, water and oil stains, and provide a high-quality image without unsightly glitches. K&F Concept's filters do not affect the contrast or color of the shot and faithfully reproduce natural, saturated colors.

The grey graduated filters consist of two rings screwed on top of each other, so the user can easily manoeuvre the darkened area depending on the nature of the scene being captured. Aluminium and electro-blackened frames are covered with numerous grooves to facilitate work in difficult weather conditions or with gloves. The relatively small thickness of the filters of 5.3 mm means that they can also be used by users of wide-angle lenses and full-frame cameras. They are also threaded on both sides, which allows the installation of a sun visor or cap.

Use

Soft graduated ND filters allow you to darken only a selected area in the frame, which is especially helpful during landscape photography, where very often the area of the sky or water is too bright in relation to the other elements and makes it difficult to achieve the correct exposure. Thanks to the smooth transition between the darkened and neutral areas, the final result in the photo gives the impression of a natural one. The K&F Concept Nano-X filter with an ND8x value is an excellent solution for almost any situation when we want to balance the overexposed area, e.g. by extracting the structure of clouds. At the same time, it remains color-neutral, thanks to which the colors captured by the camera are saturated and contrasting exactly as they are in real life.
