K&F Concept ND16 77mm Graduated ND Filter

Gray graduated filter by K&F Concept Nano-X with a diameter of 77 mm. Soft Graduated provides a soft transition between neutral and dark areas, allowing you to balance exposure in areas at risk of overexposure for a natural-looking image. At its darkest point, its optical density is ND16x (ND1.2), which corresponds to a reduction in the light reaching the camera's sensor by 4 f-stops.

The K&F Concept Nano-X filter series is an accessory made of high-quality Japanese optical glass with an extremely low reflectivity of 1.5%. Their lenses are repeatedly ground and polished, which allows you to record an image full of details and free of unwanted effects in the form of reflections or light flashes. The nano-coatings used also protect them against chips or scratches and have a hydrophobic function. As a result, no streaks of water or oil remain on the filter, and all small impurities are easy to remove. In addition to excellent image quality, K&F Concept's filters do not affect the contrast or color of the scene and faithfully reproduce natural, saturated colors.

A graduated ND filter consists of two rings screwed on top of each other, which can be rotated relative to each other. Their aluminum and electro-blackened frames are covered with numerous grooves, making it easier to work in difficult weather conditions or when using gloves. The relatively low thickness of the filters of 5.3 mm means that they can also be used with wide-angle lenses, zooms and full-frame cameras. They are also threaded on both sides, which allows the installation of a sun visor or cap.

Use

Gray graduated soft filters are an invaluable help when photographing wide scenes and landscapes. They affect exposure in only half of the frame, allowing you to capture more detail in parts that would be at risk of overexposure.
