K&F Concept Nano-X ND16 67mm Soft Graduated ND Filter

ND16x (ND1.2) Soft Graduated ND16x Graduated ND Graduated Filter by K&F Concept Nano-X. Its optical density at its darkest point corresponds to 4 aperture divisions. A smooth transition between neutral and dark areas allows you to balance exposure in areas that would be at risk of overexposure for a natural viewing experience. The filter diameter is 67 mm.

The Nano-X series are filters made of high-quality Japanese optical glass with a very low reflectivity of 1.5%. Their lenses are ground and polished many times, which allows you to record an image full of detail and free of unwanted light reflections. The nano-coatings used also protect them against chips or scratches and have a hydrophobic function. As a result, no streaks of water or oil remain on the filter, and all small impurities are easy to remove. In addition to excellent image quality, K&F Concept's filters do not affect the contrast or color of the scene and faithfully reproduce natural, saturated colors.

A graduated ND filter is made of two rings screwed on top of each other, which can be rotated relative to each other. Their aluminum and electro-blackened frames are covered with numerous grooves to facilitate work in difficult weather conditions or when using gloves. The relatively low thickness of the filters of 5.3 mm means that they can also be used with wide-angle lenses, zooms and full-frame cameras. They are also threaded on both sides, which allows the installation of a sun visor or cap.

Use

ND filters allow you to correct and balance exposures so that you can work with a wide aperture in strong light or with slower shutter speeds. Graduated density filters only affect a selected part of the frame, allowing only sensitive areas such as the sky to be darkened. A soft transition between neutral and dark areas makes the final effect in the photo natural. Most importantly, the K&F Concept Nano-X filters are colour neutral, so the colours captured by the camera are saturated and contrasting exactly as they are in real life.
