Irix 11mm f/4.0 Blackstone Lens Nikon
Description
The Irix 11 mm f/4.0 Blackstone is a unique rectilinear super wide-angle lens with manual focus and minimal distortion. It was created to fill a unique niche in landscape, interior and architectural photography with a light, intuitive and durable lens.
Functionally outstanding
Just like its older brother, the Irix 15 mm f/2.4 lens, the Irix 11mm f/4.0 incorporates proven and appreciated technical solutions for convenient use: a focus lock mechanism, an infinity click stop when the infinity mark is reached, and an intuitive hyperfocal scale. The Irix 11mm f/4.0 has room for a gel filter at the rear.
Optically unique
The optics of the Irix 11mm f/4.0, designed in Switzerland, have produced a rectilinear lens with an impressive 126 degree angle of view and minimal 3.13% distortion, provided by 4 HR high-refractive lenses, 3 aspherical elements and 2 ED lenses, making it a unique lens in its class.
Reliable in any weather
All Irix lenses are built to be used even in the harshest climates. Two seals around the focus ring and one around the bayonet protect the inside of the lens from dust, moisture and water splashes.
Built to last
The Irix Blackstone is made of a robust aluminium/magnesium alloy, giving durability and longevity. Its scale is engraved into the body and reflects UV light, making work easier in poorly lit places.
