65cm x 25m MediaTac 62µ - mouthing adhesive

MediaTac is mounting adhesive for pressure-sensitive (cold) mounting of photos. Ideal application via roller laminator. MediaTac is suitable for roll (hi capacity) mounting, the release paper is from one side. Drytac MediaTac consists of 12μ polyester carrier coated on both sides with an aqueous acrylic permanent adhesive 25μ. Moisture resistant release paper has weight 100gsm. MediaTac is most suitable for high-volume preparing of mounting boards, where indoor application is suggested. MediaTac 62μ is the most common mounting adhesive for roll mounting (for sheet mounting, TwinTac is preferred because it has the release liner on both sides). Thanks to mounting of the image on the board, the image is not wrinkling / twists even after years. Tool for mounting: roller laminator. Pre-heat is not necessary, because it is a luxury class of mounting adhesives. For pressure-sensitive mounting of photos, you should use harder and moisture resistant boards. Recommended boards for photographic purposes: • size up to A3: GatorFoam, Kapa Mount, Kapa Plast • size up to A1 (60x90): GatorFoam • size > A1: GatorFoam + solid frame, Dibond, MasterBond Instruments for the boards formatting: cutting mat, steel ruler, snap-off knife.
