Ilford film XP2 Super 400/36

XP2 Super is a black and white film that uses colour negative film technology. The resulting image is formed by dyes instead of metallic silver. Thanks to the colour negative film technology used, this film has the same strengths, namely extreme exposure latitude, an extremely rich range of halftones and fine grain.

Processing can be done in any lab with the C-41 process. In today's conditions this means that when you visit a minilab you receive a fully processed, dry film in 10 minutes. XP2 Super is ideal for all beginners, for compact cameras and wherever an extremely wide range of brightness needs to be captured with excellent halftone rendering and low grain. The grain of this film is comparable to the ISO 100/21° class and is even reduced with overexposure.

XP2 Super has a nominal speed of ISO 400/27°. However, it can be exposed without problems in the range from ISO 50/18° to 800/30°, all with the same development time.
