It is a premium variable-contrast black and white photographic paper coated on a 255g/m2 fiber base. MULTIGRADE FB WARMTONE has a warm white base tint, and images made on this paper have warm, deep blacks and creamy tones that are exceptional. It produces luxuriously rich prints. This product has led the market for many years and has long been regarded as the first choice of creative photographers. It is highly responsive to toning, chemical reduction and retouching techniques. This product simply delivers a final-quality print that nothing else can achieve in the darkroom, which is why it is so widely used around the world for exhibition printing. It consistently produces the highest quality you can expect from ILFORD photographic paper, and its versatility and response to darkroom techniques never disappoint. For these and other reasons, MULTIGRADE FB WARMTONE remains the same as it was when launched in 1997. In the darkroom you will find that MULTIGRADE FB WARMTONE needs an induction time of about 40 seconds for the image to appear during processing. It retains all the processing characteristics that photographers are used to from FB paper. It is suitable for use with all types of darkroom enlargers and is ideal with most safelights designed for black and white papers with a cutoff no lower than 580nm. It is fully compatible with the ILFORD range of chemistry, as well as the ILFORD optimal permanence washing sequence. MULTIGRADE FB WARMTONE delivers seven full contrast grades from grade 00 to grade 5 in half-grade steps when used with ILFORD MULTIGRADE FILTERS. After washing and drying, it can be mounted using standard methods for fiber base papers.
