Description

The Hoya ProND EX 8 62mm is a low-density neutral density filter for photographers and filmmakers. It gives precise control over the light entering the lens, helping to use wide apertures in bright light or to match shutter speed to frame rate when shooting video.

  • Filter type: ND8 (low-density group ND2–ND8)
  • Filter diameter: 62 mm
  • Clear Hoya optical glass in a very light aluminium frame
  • Front thread for attaching additional filters or a lens hood
  • ACCU-ND technology: no need to correct white balance or colours in post-processing when changing filters
  • Helps when shooting fast lenses such as F1.4 or F1.2 wide open for softer bokeh
  • Suitable for video, e.g. when ISO cannot be set below 800 in Sony S-log mode
  • Can be stacked with PRO ND EX 64 for an effect equal to ND500
