Hoya ND8 HMC IN SQ.CASE 55 MM

The Hoya ND8 HMC IN SQ.CASE 55 MM is a 55 mm neutral grey (ND8) screw-in filter that cuts the light reaching the lens by 3 f-stops. Use it in photography and video when you need a longer shutter speed or a wider aperture than the available light allows.

• Filter diameter: 55 mm
• Neutral density ND8: reduces light by 3 f-stops
• HMC anti-reflective coatings on the filter surfaces cut unwanted reflections
• High light transmission helps preserve contrast and colour saturation
• Black filter ring
• Allows longer exposure times when you cannot stop the aperture down further or lower the ISO
• Allows wide apertures with fast lenses in bright sunlight, which is useful for portraits and filmmaking
• Helps match exposure on film cameras where the exposure time cannot be adjusted
• Supplied in a square case
