Premium semi-matt paper

Archival Velvet 265 is our premium semi-matt micro-porous paper, 265 g/m2, suitable for photography and digital proof prints.

Archival Velvet 265 is certified by the Fogra Institute according to the ISO standard for digital proofing, ISO 12647-2:2013. This means Velvet 265 has excellent archival potential and is certified for digital hard-proofing systems. The document number is 28564-1.

Archival Velvet 265 is the best-selling product in the Collection series. It can and cannot be compared to photo paper from "wet" minilabs (Agfa, Kodak, Fuji, Noritsu, Konica) at the same time. Its surface and base are indistinguishably similar to its sibling from the wet minilab era, but Archival Velvet 265 offers greater archival potential (photographs will not fade), sharper detail and higher colour saturation (it has a larger so-called gamut, the range of colours it can reproduce). The popularity of FOMEI Collection Archival Velvet 265 is a commitment for us. That is why we produce it in various sheet and roll sizes.
