Transparent polyester film

FomeiJet Clear Film 180 is a transparent polyester film used to make negatives (contact prints) from digital data, as a basis for historical photographic processing techniques.

It finds a second use in prepress, in the production of separation films.

Clear Film 180 has a unique coating for inkjet printers. It provides high black density and high sharpness of the image. It is intended for reproducing photographic work (contacts) and for separation films in the prepress industry. It is dimensionally stable, water-resistant and antistatic. Thanks to this, it meets all the requirements for separation films. The PET base provides excellent UV transmission properties.

Note for owners of photo printers with pigment inks:

Print on FomeiJet Clear Film 180 using the matte black configuration (Matte K, MK) to obtain the desired black density (higher dynamic range).

It is very advantageous to use transparent film as part of a high-end photo light box, where the printed transparent film is laminated with an ultra-gloss film and mounted on milky acrylic glass using a transparent mounting film.
