Jupio PowerBOX 500 power station 228Wh
Description
Energy in a box! The PowerBOX500 is the smaller sibling of the PowerBOX1000 and is a portable power station. Its capacity is 288Wh, and the AC output is rated at 500W (750W peak).
The PowerBOX500 has 1 AC output, 1 DC output, 1 car socket output, 1 USB-A Quick Charge 3.0 output and 2 USB-C Power Delivery outputs. This means 6 devices can be charged or powered at the same time (total power up to 500W).
All of this is especially safe, because the unit does not use standard lithium-ion cells but more modern lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells. This means the cells are practically non-flammable and do not overheat, thanks in part to a modern battery management system (BMS).
LiFePO4 battery cells can be recharged up to 3500 times with only a slight loss of capacity. By comparison, lithium-ion cells can only be recharged about 500 times. Just as important, these cells are environmentally friendly!
The modern BMS technology and built-in fan ensure that the PowerBOX500 charges exceptionally fast and efficiently. Using the included AC cable, a full charge from 0% to 100% takes only 1 hour and 10 minutes! It can also be charged with solar panels.
