Cokin Vari ND 32-1000 72.0mm filter

Cokin Round Nuances NDX 32-1024 filter 72mm. The Cokin Round Nuances NDX 32-1024 filter is made of mineral glass using an innovative filter manufacturing technology. A completely new coating process was developed to ensure consistent colours.

A nano metal alloy is applied to both sides of the filter, which is made of high-strength tempered Schott glass. This type of glass is known for its high light transmission and low reflection. The result is outstanding neutrality, completely free of infrared contamination.

Why a grey filter? This grey filter has a density of 1.5 to 3.0 and blocks five to ten stops of light across the whole image. It lets you work with a wider aperture or a slower shutter speed. It is ideal in bright light and in situations where you want to use certain settings under conditions in which the available light does not allow it. It also gives you greater control over depth of field.

Why a variable grey filter? Turn the outer ring of the filter to set a range from ND32 to ND1024. There is no need to change filters to achieve different effects. With this filter you can control the light steplessly while shooting at a constant aperture.
