Description
Foma Fomafix is a fast-acting, non-hardening fixer that can be used with any type of black-and-white film and paper. It can be used for manual processing (developing tank or tray) and automated processing (machine processors).
The fixer is very effective and has strong buffering capacity with long-term stability. The dilution for manual processing is 1:5, and for machine processing 1:4. 1 litre of working solution at 1:5 dilution will fix 17 35 mm films (36 exposures) or roll films (120), an equivalent amount of sheet film (up to 40 sheets of 12.7 × 17.8 cm) or 3 m² of photographic paper. The fixing time at 20 °C is 1.5–3 min depending on the type of film/paper.
The contents of this pack make up to 30 litres of fixer.
