Walimex pro UV-Filter Slim Super DMC 77mm

Protection against UV light and dirt

UV filters are effective filters that block ultraviolet light (a natural component of sunlight) and so contribute to better image results. Especially in outdoor photography, colours are rendered more vividly and clearly. Distant shots, such as those often taken in the mountains, do not disappear into haze as much as they would without a UV filter. UV filters also reliably protect your lens from dust, splashes and scratches on the front element. A UV filter can be left on the lens all year round and is easy to clean.

Excellent quality and workmanship

The UV filter has excellent optical properties. The high-quality, ground filter glass has 16 coating layers (DMC, especially for digital cameras). It does not reduce your lens performance in use: 99% of the incoming light still reaches the lens. With a height of only about 2.5 mm, the filter is extra slim, light and compact. The glass sits in a precisely made metal frame. The knurled edge makes the filter especially easy to grip and to remove when needed. The included storage case protects it from damage during transport.

Nano coating for better photos

Two nano coating layers ensure a clear view: dust hardly finds a place to settle on the filter, and water and oil simply run off. Unlike uncoated glass, droplets do not run down the filter glass like on a windscreen and do not need to be wiped off, but stay in a half-moon shape and run off by themselves.

Suitable for lenses from a wide range of manufacturers

The universal filter thread fits the filter threads of lenses from a wide range of manufacturers, such as Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fuji, Olympus, Samsung and of course Samyang and Walimex pro!
