Description

The Venus Optics Laowa x1.33 PL / PL anamorphic adapter is a compact adapter that changes the aspect ratio from 16:9 to 2.35:1 on cameras with 16:9 sensors. Its optical design produces subtle flares and a vintage background-blur character, without the typical oval bokeh effect when working at smaller apertures.

Developed for the Venus Optics Laowa OOOM 25-100mm T2.9 Cine lens, it also works with selected lenses from Angenieux, Arri and Carl Zeiss. A compatibility template is available for checking individual lenses. The adapter attaches at the Arri PL bayonet side of the lens and locks in place using a ring with a handle.
