Wall-mounted telescopic boom arm

WALL-BOOM-1 is a wall-mounted telescopic boom arm designed for permanent studio light installation. It allows the light to extend into the shooting area, be adjusted in height, and tilted as needed. After use, the arm can be folded back against the wall to free up valuable workspace.

It is ideal for studios where traditional light stands are not desirable - eliminating floor obstacles and improving both safety and freedom of movement.

Construction and adjustment range

The arm measures 94.5 cm when collapsed and extends up to 169 cm when fully extended. The telescopic design allows the reach to be adapted to specific needs - from a compact wall-mounted setup to full extension over the scene.

The load capacity of the arm is 7 kg.

The total weight of 2.26 kg ensures a solid and stable construction without unnecessary bulk. The arm can:

• extend and retract (telescopic function)
• tilt to the desired angle
• swing out from the wall into the workspace
• fold back against the wall after use

Mechanical locking is handled by securing elements located on the arm.

Mounting base

The wall mounting plate has the following dimensions:

• Width: 14 cm
• Height: 30 cm

The mounting holes have a diameter of 0.8 cm and are positioned 1.5 cm from the nearest edges of the mounting plate.

Installation hardware (screws and anchors) is not included, as the correct selection depends on the wall type. Secure installation into a load-bearing structure is recommended.

Spigot and light mounting

At the end of the arm there is a metal spigot (adapter) with two possible positions:

• Parallel to the arm - inserted into the top opening at the end section.
• Perpendicular to the arm - inserted from the side into the arm head.

The spigot is used to mount a studio light or other accessories compatible with a standard fitting.

Practical studio use

WALL-BOOM-1 is a solution for permanent lighting positions - for example as a key light, hair light, or overhead modeling light above the scene. Compared to traditional stands:

• it does not take up floor space
• it reduces the risk of tripping
• it allows the light to be quickly returned to its working position
• it keeps the studio clean and organized

It is particularly suitable for smaller studios where every meter of space matters.
