MITOYA HYRAX is a mini photo tripod designed for creators looking for an extremely stable yet ultra-mobile mount for their equipment. It features an extremely robust design that can easily handle mirrorless and DSLRs with standard lenses, as well as action cameras and smartphones. It offers height adjustment from 32 to 55 cm and a safe load capacity of up to 5 kg, which guarantees full safety of the photo set mounted on it.

The HYRAX tripod has a ball head that allows the camera to tilt freely. Two knobs are responsible for the position lock - the lower, smaller one, blocking the rotation of the head around its own 360° axis, and the upper, larger one, responsible for locking the bearing. The quick-release socket meets the Arca Swiss standard, and the mounting plate has non-slip washers and a 1/4'' screw. The base of the quick release offers two spirit levels, making it easier to correctly frame and obtain repeatable shots. We can also unscrew the entire head and remove it from the tripod, revealing the 3/8'' thread connecting them.

The tripod legs have foam handles and offer two additional extendable sections, locked with wide clamps. Each leg can be tilted independently, allowing the tripod to be positioned stably on uneven, demanding ground. Thick rubber feet will also help maintain a stable position. The ratchet system, on the other hand, allows the legs to be unfolded almost completely flat - the minimum working height of the tripod is then 21.5 cm. In addition, the design of the HYRAX tripod allows you to completely disassemble the central column and mount it with the head downwards - thus giving us a chance to take photos and videos directly at ground level. This is an invaluable feature when shooting macro or creating dynamic, sporty shots.

MITOYA HYRAX is made entirely of high-quality aluminium, which translates into excellent durability and resistance to mechanical damage. Additional rubber elements increase stability and improve working comfort, especially on dynamic sets. HYRAX weighs 950 g and is only 21 cm long when folded. It will easily fit in a camera bag or backpack, becoming the perfect partner for any trip.
