Coman M1PRO V5 One-Click Lift carbon monopod with V5 video head, 175 cm

The Coman M1PRO V5 is a carbon fibre monopod for photography and video with a One-Click Lift system: a button on the handle lets the four-section column extend and retract without unlocking each section separately. The column is made of B-2 carbon fibre with metal connecting parts.

The working height is 76.5-175 cm and the folded length is 76.5 cm. The monopod weighs 2.5 kg. The column load capacity is 20 kg and the V5 head load capacity is 8 kg. The column sections are 36, 32.5, 29 and 25.5 mm in diameter. Two quick-release couplers at the top and bottom of the column let you detach the head and split the monopod into three modules, or fit the head directly on the base. Three 1/4" threaded sockets with ARRI positioning holes near the handle take extensions or magic arms.

The V5 aluminium video head has a damping system, 360° panning and a tilt of -90° to +90°, with separate controls for pan and tilt. The control handle is adjustable from 20 to 33 cm. The quick-release plate has a 1/4" screw and a locking mechanism; plate sizes are 50 x 70 mm (tilting) and 50 x 120 mm (flat).

The fold-out three-leg base has 19 cm legs with rubber feet and independent leg locks, and a ball joint with a foot-operated lock lets the column tilt up to 90°. The base does not give full stability on its own, so the monopod must not be left unattended.
