Mitoya PICO 65cm Softbox + Grid [Bowens]

..:: 50 MONTHS WARRANTY ::..

The twelve-sided MITOYA PICO studio softbox with a diameter of 65 cm is a handy and versatile light modifier designed for photographers and video creators. Equipped with an integrated BOWENS adapter, it can be combined with flashes and LED steady light lamps. The set with the bowl includes two diffusers - internal and external - and a grid.

The MITOYA PICO softbox has a quick unfolding mechanism in the form of expansion wires routed outside the canopy. Each wire is tensioned and locked independently - the clip-based mechanism eliminates the need to use a lot of force. Moving the wires to the outside of the canopy makes the inside of the softbox empty and no element obscures the lamp burner. This allows for homogeneous lighting without shadows, which is especially important when creating videos. The inside of the canopy was lined with silver, reflective fabric.

An important convenience resulting from the design of the canopy is also the fact that when folding and unfolding it, you do not have to disassemble the diffusers and the grid every time. The shells attached to the canopy can remain in place all the time - as a result, modifying the set or rearranging it takes much less time than when using softboxes with a classic, umbrella internal mechanism.

The frame of the PICO softbox combines aluminum and plastic , which partially reduces the weight of the modifier compared to similar softboxes from other lines. For safety and greater durability, the BOWENS fastening itself and the expansion wires have remained aluminum - this guarantees comfort of work and resistance to accidental mechanical damage.
