Mitoya PICO 105cm Softbox + Grid [Bowens]

..:: 50 MONTHS WARRANTY ::..

The PICO 105 cm MITOYA softbox is a studio-grade light modifier designed for photographers and filmmakers. Consisting of twelve walls and an integrated BOWENS mount, it can be combined with both studio flashes and LED steady light lamps. It comes with two diffusers - internal and external - and a grid that strongly directs the lamp's light.

MITOYA PICO is equipped with a quick unfolding system based on wires routed outside the canopy. Each of them is tensioned independently and locked with snaps. Moving the expansion structure to the outside makes the interior of the canopy empty and no element obscures the lamp burner. This makes it possible to achieve extremely uniform lighting without shadows, which is especially important when creating video. The inside of the canopy is lined with a silver, reflective fabric, the task of which is to additionally reflect and amplify the light.

The design of the softbox and its folding system also make the use of the modifier itself very convenient. When folding and unfolding the canopy, there is no need to disassemble the diffusers and grid every time. The Velcro coatings can remain in place at all times. Thanks to this, the arrangement of the set takes much less time than when using softboxes with an internal, umbrella expansion mechanism.

In order to maximize the practicality of PICO softboxes, not only aluminum but also plastic was used in their production. This has significantly reduced their weight compared to other softboxes of similar size. The most important elements - the BOWENS fastening and the expansion wires - remain aluminum, thanks to which the softbox is durable and resistant to accidental mechanical damage.
