Professional MITOYA softbox from the INTENSE series, with an octadecagon-shaped shape and a deep, parabolic canopy. The unique design, based on fiberglass wires routed on the outside of the canopy, guarantees the highest possible level of control over constant and flashing light. Thanks to its great depth, the softbox allows not only for intensive dispersion of the light flux, but also for its precise direction. The use of the popular BOWENS mounting bayonet means that the modifier can be combined with virtually all flashes and steady beam lamps equipped with this adapter. The diameter of the softbox is 90 cm, so it can also work with powerful reporter lamps.

As many as 18 wires are used in the construction of MITOYA INTENSE softboxes, which makes the shape of the front diffuser as close as possible to a wheel. The fiberglass construction, on the other hand, guarantees very high strength, flexibility and resistance to accidental deformation, which is a special convenience if the softbox is often moved and used for outdoor work. At the same time, the entire frame is located outside the canopy - thanks to this solution, the light of the lamp is not obscured by the elements of the structure, as is the case with softboxes with an umbrella structure. As a result, the INTENSE series is also perfect for working with LED continuous light lamps. An additional convenience is the ventilation hole, located on one of the sides, which facilitates the dissipation of heat generated by the burner. Closed with a strong Velcro, it also allows you to route power cables if the lamp is placed inside the canopy (an additional adapter is required for this type of installation - not included).

The softbox is also distinguished by the reflective coating used inside. It is made of smooth, silver and semi-matte material, thanks to which the light of the lamp is very soft, subtle and natural. The set includes two diffusers - internal and external. The first one is lined in the middle with a thicker layer of diffusing material - in this way it evens out the light emitted by the lamp and prevents the formation of the so-called "hot spot" in the very center of the surface. The external diffuser is mounted on a wide Velcro, which leaves room to use the grid included in the set. The grid, with a dense mesh of 4 × 4 cm, effectively limits the propagation of light to the sides and focuses it in the central area.

To maximize the comfort of use, the INTENSE series also has an intelligent quick-unfolding system. It is based on 18 latches, arranged around the BOWENS adapter. Each latch is locked and released independently, so that unfolding does not require much force and is very fast. Flexible wires tighten the canopy material tightly and keep it in a compact structure. The whole set is packed in a sturdy, zippered transport bag.

The unique design of the softbox, which is devoid of internal mounting elements, also allows the lamp to be placed in the middle of its canopy. This solution is possible with the use of a compatible Zoom-Focus headband, the mounting ring of which replaces the original BOWENS adapter in the softbox. The Zoom-Focus mount is not included in the basic set and must be purchased separately.
