Description
The Caruba grid for Orb 110cm is a honeycomb grid that attaches to the front rim of the Caruba Orb 110cm softbox with hook-and-loop fastening. It narrows the beam and reduces light spill to the sides while preserving the soft character of the Orb's light.
The grid's straight channels let forward-directed light pass through while their walls intercept light travelling at an angle. This helps keep light on the subject and limits unwanted illumination of the background and reflections from walls and ceilings in small rooms.
The grid can be attached or removed without dismantling the softbox, allowing a change between a narrow beam and broad illumination during a shoot.
