Barn Doors

Barn doors are adjustable flap systems that shape and direct the light beam. This category covers barn doors for flashes, studio reflectors and LED lights, including sets with egg crate grids, honeycomb grids or color filters, from Nanlite, Godox, Fomei, SmallRig and Quadralite.

Barn doors keep stray light off the background, create a narrow strip of light or prevent flare in the lens. Most are designed for a specific light source, so check compatibility, for example with Nanlite Pavotube II and Mixpad II, Godox S30 or standard 18 cm reflectors. Models with four and eight leaves are available.
