Valoi 360 Essential Copy Stand v2

The Valoi 360 Essential Copy Stand v2 holds a camera pointing down towards a film holder on a desk for film scanning. This 690mm-high version has a custom steel base heavier than the v1 base, with a black powder-coated finish and a quick-release column for disassembly.

The user-assembled stand incorporates aluminium components. Camera height is adjusted by sliding the head along the rail and locking it. The wide, rubber-covered camera support helps prevent rotation, while the custom aluminium mounting screw has a 40mm diameter and space around it for tightening by hand.

• Supported setups include APS-C mirrorless cameras or DSLRs with lenses of 60mm or shorter, M4/3 cameras with lenses of 40mm or shorter, and M4/3 or APS-C cameras with lenses of 60mm or longer, subject to the caution below.
• Smaller full-frame mirrorless cameras with lenses of 70mm or shorter are supported.
• APS-C cameras with lenses of 90mm or longer, larger full-frame mirrorless cameras with lenses of 70mm or shorter, and smaller full-frame mirrorless cameras with lenses of 90mm or longer approach the recommended stability limit. Extra care is needed to avoid blurred images.
• Larger full-frame mirrorless cameras with lenses of 90mm or longer and professional full-frame DSLRs are not supported.
• For 35mm film with normal focal-length lenses, no extension is needed. The supplier's compatibility guidance assumes 120 film scanning.
• Minor scratches or scuffs on metal parts do not affect function.
• A digital camera and additional accessories are required to produce an image.
