Description
The SMDV FlashWave III radio trigger kit includes a transmitter and receiver for remotely triggering portable flash units or studio flashes. It operates at 2.4 GHz with 16 channels and a range of up to approximately 180m in an open field.
The transmitter has a single central contact for use with many cameras equipped with an ISO standard hot shoe. Its two-stage trigger test button first activates autofocus and then releases the shutter. The receiver has an integrated hot shoe, a 3.5mm connection for studio flashes and a 1/4" thread for mounting on a tripod or light stand.
