Ulanzi Sairen VM-Q1 Condenser Microphone [3.5mm mini jack]

The SAIREN VM-Q1 is a compact and easy-to-use condenser microphone designed for cameras, camcorders and smartphones equipped with a 3.5 mm mini jack port. Supercardioid sound characteristics, a durable aluminum capsule and the included covers to reduce unwanted ambient noise make it an interesting product for amateur and semi-professional applications – vlogging or interviewing.

The microphone works with a wide range of devices using two interchangeable cables. The first one – TRS – is used to connect to cameras, video cameras or sound recorders that have a separate microphone connector. With the second cable – TRRS – the microphone can be connected to a smartphone, tablet or laptop with a combined headphone-microphone port. The microphone does not need an additional battery – it is powered directly from the device to which it is connected. Its low power consumption does not burden the equipment and allows you to create long recordings.

In addition to the interchangeable TRS and TRRS cables, the set includes an anti-shock mounting bracket. With its help, the microphone can be mounted directly on the camera shoe, in cold shoe mounts or on a tripod with a popular 1/4'' photo thread. Two covers to reduce unwanted sounds will also be helpful – a sponge, which suppresses explosive sounds and is useful when working indoors, and a deadcat – a windscreen made of dense, synthetic fur.
