The device's transmitter is attached to the camera's flash foot and is connected to the drain hose socket and to the camera's video output. The device gets the video signal only via the 3.5mm jack output. The trigger is compatible with Canon 1000D, 300D, 350D, 400D, 450D, 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, 50D, 5D, 1D MarkI, 1D MarkII, 1D MarkIII, 1Ds MarkIII cameras and others with 3.5mm AV OUT jack .
