Peak Design created the Form Rope as a minimalist and more pleasant-to-use alternative to other rope straps that Peak Design had tried before. Instead of using coarse climbing rope sewn to bulky off-the-shelf rings, Peak Design developed its own materials and hardware to create a slim form with an excellent attachment experience. The basket-weave nylon rope provides an optimal balance of strength, softness and stretch, so the camera is comfortable to carry.

At the ends of the rope it transitions seamlessly into a colour-matched, low-profile version of the Anchor Link quick connector made of glass-fibre-reinforced nylon, which lets you attach the camera securely and effortlessly. A sleek anodized aluminium accessory loop lets you attach a spare Anchor connector so the strap can stay on you when the camera is removed. This version is in the colour kelp.
