The NiSi Black Magic Diffusion 1/8 is a 4x5.65" optical glass cinema filter for matte boxes. It combines an array of hundreds of nano-lenslets with black mist diffusion to soften highlights and surrounding textures while retaining sharp eyes, hair and other key subject details.

The diffusion smooths the appearance of skin blemishes and uneven skin tones while preserving natural texture, colour and contrast. It adds subtle halation and warmth for a vintage film appearance and reduces the harshness of digital footage.
