Description
The NiSi Athena Prime 18mm T2.2 is a fixed focal length cine lens with a Sony E mount. Its 46mm image circle supports full-frame and large-format sensors. The optical design controls chromatic aberration and micro-contrast and minimises changes in the field of view when adjusting focus from the minimum focusing distance to infinity.
The T2.2 maximum aperture is expressed as a T-stop, which measures actual light transmission for exposure control. Athena Prime lenses have similar weights, allowing lens changes on a gimbal without rebalancing, and matching positions for their focus and aperture rings.

- Standard 0.8 module focus and iris gears for compatibility with follow focus and matte box systems.
