MITOYA MTY288T is a photographic-studio tripod with a smoothly broken central speaker , giving the possibility of precise adjustment of its individual segments. You can use it as a regular tripod for a ball head camera, position its column completely horizontally when shooting from above, or mount an LED lamp on it for video recording. 

The maximum height of the tripod is 250 cm. With the widest leg spacing, ensuring maximum stability, it is 235 cm. The central column itself is 170 cm long, and its broken part measures 100 cm. With the classic vertical arrangement of the column, the maximum load capacity of the structure is 5 kg, which allows for the installation of a studio LED lamp, ring lamp or panel lamp. When working with the column positioned horizontally, for flat lay photos, the recommended maximum load capacity is 3 kg.

The center speaker is completely unscrewable from the tripod legs and can be used separately. The set includes a massive vise holder, which allows you to screw the column to a tabletop, shelf or other working edge. A MITOYA MTY288T photo tripod can serve not only as a classic tripod, but also as a functional arm for a camera, lamp or phone at the workstation. The convenience of use is increased by straps with Velcro, which make it easier to secure power cables. 

The classic ball head allows you to maneuver the camera freely. The detachable quick connector meets the Arca Swiss standard and is finished with a 1/4'' thread. The wide clamp ensures the stability of the camera, and the additional 360° scale makes it easy to take panoramas. The whole is complemented by two small spirit levels. The set includes a replaceable 16 mm stem, which can be screwed onto a tripod instead of a head - this allows you to mount lamps and other lighting accessories, such as the MITOYA SUN35. The tripod is made of aluminum - it is durable and at the same time comfortable for everyday use. 

ATTENTION! The central column has a hook for mounting the counterweight. When working with a broken column, the structure should be loaded in proportion to the weight of the equipment. It is best to position the attached equipment so that it is directed along one of the tripod legs - then the load is transferred directly to the leg, and not to the empty space between them, which significantly improves the stability of the set. For more demanding setups, you need to put additional weight on the tripod using a hook and a suitable counterweight.
