Mitoya INTENSE 70cm Softbox + Grid [Bowens]

..:: 50 MONTHS WARRANTY ::..

TheMITOYA INTENSE studio  softbox with an octadecagon-shaped and deep, parabolic canopy is designed with professionals in mind. The construction is based on fiberglass wires routed outside the canopy for the highest level of control over light. The use of the BOWENS bayonet makes the modifier possible to combine with a wide range of lamps. The diameter of the softbox is 70 cm.

The MITOYA INTENSE softboxes are designed with 18 wires, so that the shape of the diffuser is as close as possible to a circle. Fiberglass guarantees strength, flexibility and resistance to accidental deformation. The entire frame is located outside the canopy, so the lamp burner is not obscured by structural elements. This is the perfect solution for filmmakers who use constant light lamps.

The softbox also features an inner reflective coating of smooth, silver and semi-matt. The light of the lamp is soft, subtle and natural. The set includes two diffusers - internal and external. The first one is lined in the middle with a thicker layer of dispersing material to eliminate the hot spot. The external diffuser is mounted on a wide Velcro, leaving room for the grid. The grid itself, with a dense mesh of 4 × 4 cm, allows for additional light modifications.

To maximize the comfort of use, the INTENSE series has a quick unfolding system that is based on 18 latches, arranged around the BOWENS adapter. Each latch is locked and released independently. Unfolding the canopy does not require the use of much force and is very fast. The whole set is packed in a sturdy bag with a zipper.

The unique design of the softbox, which is devoid of internal mounting elements, also allows the lamp to be placed in the middle of its canopy. This is possible with the use of a compatible Zoom-Focus headband, the mounting ring of which replaces the BOWENS adapter in the softbox. The Zoom-Focus mount is not included in the basic set and must be purchased separately.
