Professional, studio softbox of the MITOYA INTENSE series  with an octadecagon shape and a deep, parabolic bowl. Its unique design is based on fiberglass wires routed outside the canopy, which translates into precise control over constant and flashing light. Thanks to the large depth, the softbox also allows you to direct them precisely. The use of the popular BOWENS mounting bayonet means that the modifier can be combined with almost all flashes and steady beam lamps equipped with this adapter. The diameter of the softbox is 120 cm, which makes it an ideal tool for working in an extensive photo studio and on a film set. There are also 70 cm and 90 cm versions - also with a grid!

As many as 18 wires are used in the construction of MITOYA INTENSE softboxes, thanks to which the shape of the front diffuser is as close as possible to a wheel. The use of fiberglass guarantees very high strength, flexibility and resistance of the structure to accidental deformation, which is a special convenience if the softbox is often moved. At the same time, the entire frame is located outside the canopy - thanks to this solution, the light of the lamp is not obscured by the elements of the structure, as is the case with softboxes with an umbrella structure. As a result, the INTENSE series is also perfect for working with continuous light lamps. An additional convenience is the ventilation hole, located on one of the sides, which facilitates the dissipation of heat generated by the burner. Closed with a strong Velcro, it also allows you to route power cables if the lamp is placed inside the canopy (an additional adapter is required for this type of installation - not included).

The softbox is also distinguished by the reflective coating used inside. It is made of smooth, silver and semi-matte material, thanks to which the resulting lighting is very natural, soft and subtle. The set includes two diffusers - internal and external. The first one is lined in the middle with a thicker layer of diffusing material - in this way it evens out the light emitted by the lamp and prevents the formation of the so-called "hot spot" in the very center of the surface. The external diffuser is mounted on a wide Velcro, which leaves room to use the grid included in the set. The grid, with a dense mesh of 4 × 4 cm, effectively limits the propagation of light to the sides and focuses it in the central area.

To maximize the comfort of use, the INTENSE series also has an intelligent quick-unfolding system. It is based on 18 latches, arranged around the BOWENS adapter. Each latch is locked and released independently, so that unfolding does not require much force and is very fast. Flexible wires tighten the canopy material tightly and keep it in a compact structure. The whole set is packed in a sturdy, zippered transport bag.

The unique design of the softbox, which is devoid of internal mounting elements, also allows the lamp to be placed in the middle of its canopy. This is possible with the use of a compatible Zoom-Focus headband, the mounting ring of which replaces the BOWENS adapter in the softbox. The Zoom-Focus mount is not included in the basic set and must be purchased separately.

MITOYA INTENSE is a series of professional light modifiers, made of the highest quality materials and materials. They are successfully used both on photographic and film sets. Their specific design guarantees the possibility of precise setting and adaptation of the light to current needs. They can be used with constant or flashing lamps, equipped with a BOWENS mount. The use of the octagonal shape allowed for maximum approximation to the surface of the circle, thanks to which the flashes in the eyes of the photographed person look natural and aesthetic. The grid included in the kit allows for even more precise control over the light.
