MITOYA MTY63 is an additional horizontal speaker designed for a photo tripod. Made of aluminum, it is relatively lightweight, yet durable and solid. Its total length is 61 cm. The sliding mounting bracket with a 3/8'' thread will allow you to connect it to a wide range of tripods available on the market - also from other manufacturers. The speaker replaces the head originally included with the tripod.

The arm is finished with 3/8" male threads on both sides, so that the head previously removed from the tripod can be mounted on its end. Additional stabilization of the head is provided by wide plates. The maximum load capacity of the arm is as much as 5 kg – this value refers to the total weight of the camera along with the additional load.

The mounting bracket has two clamps. The taller one is responsible for moving it along the seatpost, which allows you to adjust the length of the arm to your current needs. The lower one is responsible for locking the rotation around its own axis. An additional angular scale allows for precise control of the rotation of the arm.

ATTENTION! When working with the side arm, it is necessary to install a counterweight, selected according to the weight of the equipment used. This allows the correct center of gravity to be maintained and protects against uncontrolled falls. The counterweight should be used regardless of whether you mount a smartphone holder or a professional DSLR camera on the tripod.
