The MITOYA MTY-F2 tripod mount is a functional arm that allows for quick and convenient mounting of photo blends. It can be mounted on any studio stand with a 16 mm stem. The set also includes a double-sided adapter with threaded holes in the 1/4" and 3/8" standard, which allows you to connect the arm also with photo video tripods.

The boom is made of aluminum covered with black, matte paint. Its telescopic design, consisting of three sections, allows it to be adapted to blends of various sizes, with diameters ranging from 30 to 120 cm. Each section is locked with an independent clamp. The handles holding the aperture can also be moved along the arm and rotated around, so the reflector can be easily positioned at the desired angle.

The MTY-F2 can also act as a boom arm - at one of its ends there is a 16 mm standard stem with a 1/4'' thread, and at the other there is a small hole that we can use to hang a counterweight. Due to the relatively delicate structure of the arm - whose main function is to support the shutters - we suggest mounting only a few accessories on the stem, such as pocket LED lamps or directional microphones.

Application

Simple and convenient to use, the MTY-F2 blend holder is the perfect complement to the set and makes work much easier for all members of the photo crew. The arm can be mounted on almost any lighting tripod, and the aperture placed in it can be rotated and moved to precisely control the reflected light. The set created in this way will be used in portrait, fashion and product photography - including arrangements. However, it is worth remembering that the tripod used should be sufficiently massive and work on the set should be safe.
