B&W Film Development and Scanning
Description
Professional black and white film development and scanning. Black and white film is developed by hand using Kodak X-tol chemistry and a Jobo processor with precise temperature control. Our specialists have more than 30 years of experience.
Formats: 135 (35mm), 120 (medium format), 127, 110, 4x5" sheets. The price is per film, or per 4x5" sheet.
Scanning resolutions:
Development only: no scanning, you receive the developed original.
Standard (135 only): 1037 × 1565 px (~1.6 MP), suitable for viewing and prints up to 10x15 cm.
High (135, 120 and 127): 135 film 2048 × 3057 px (~6.3 MP, prints up to A4); 120 film 2470-4083 × 2048-3322 px (~6-12 MP depending on frame size).
Maximum (135, 120 and 127): 135 film 4492 × 6774 px (~30 MP, ~100 MB TIFF per frame); 120 film 4824-4912 × 3533-9794 px (~20-45 MP depending on frame size: 6x4.5, 6x6, 6x7, 6x9, 6x12).
For 4x5" sheets, 110 and 127 only development is available.
Scanner: Noritsu HS-1800.
Included: development + scanning + index print + file delivery by email or on a data carrier. Scans are stored for up to 360 days.
Processing schedule: development on Tuesdays and Thursdays, scanning on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Processing time: 1-3 business days.
Additional options (choose above):
Push/Pull processing from -3 to +3 stops: +€2.50.
Wet (soaked for artistic purposes) or damaged film: +€2.00.
Fog reduction for old film: +€2.00 (recommended, +1 stop for every 10 years).
Do not cut the film into 6-frame strips and do not sleeve it: free.
Destroy the film after scanning: free.
Which films use the black and white process?
Black and white films: Ilford HP5, FP4, Delta, Pan F (except XP2, which is a C41 film), Foma Fomapan, Kodak Tri-X, T-Max, Fuji Acros, Agfa APX and others.
