K&F Concept Nano-X B270 72mm MC UV Filter

Circular ultraviolet filter with a diameter of 72 mm MC-UV Nano-X by K&F Concept. Equipped with a green coating that increases light transmission up to 99.6%. The lens is made of durable Schott B270 optical glass, which is repeatedly polished during the production stage in order to achieve the lowest possible refractive index.

The main purpose of the UV filter is to reduce ultraviolet radiation, which is often visible in landscape photos in the form of a blue haze in the foreground. This type of atmospheric haze is particularly common in mountainous areas and near vast bodies of water. By reducing haze, the UV filter simultaneously increases the contrast of the scene and allows you to capture more detail. It also has a protective function, protecting the objective lens against mechanical damage, pollen or dust.

The Nano-X series are multi-coated filters. They reduce glare and light flashes, giving the shot a uniform character without unwanted dye. Thanks to the additional hardening of the glass , they are also extremely resistant to scratches and chips. They are also highly resistant to water and greasy stains, so that no stains form on the front element, and any impurities, such as fingerprints, settle much more difficult and are very easy to remove.

The ultra-thin (3.3 mm) electrochromically blackened aluminium frame allows them to be used with wide-angle lenses without worrying about vignettes. It adheres snugly to the lens, and the contoured recesses make it easy to mount and remove. The filter is double-threaded, which allows the simultaneous use of additional accessories such as other filters or a sun visor.
